MinuteCon 2027 // Boston, MA
0ne If By LAN, Zero If By C2
Boston's one and only independent hacker conference. Two days of real research, live demos, and zero vendor fluff.
The Origins of MinuteCon
For the better part of the last decade, there have been countless conversations at local security meetups, at post-meetup bar tables, and in various conference hallway-cons, and one question remained consistent across all these conversations; "When was Boston getting its own hacking conference?" The idea never went away. It just needed a home.
That home is NEISA, the New England Information Security Alliance. The organization behind the Boston Security Meetup and the Boston Hackers Meetup. MinuteCon is NEISA's newest event, built by the same community that has been showing up, month after month, for many years.
Boston is home to some of the strongest academic institutions in the world, and there is no shortage of small, security-centric meetups. The security community has been here all along; in the universities, in the research labs, in the basements and shared spaces where people are quietly doing the work that matters. MinuteCon exists to give that community a room of its own.
MinuteCon Target Audience
MinuteCon is for past | present | future hackers of all backgrounds, including but not limited to vulnerability researchers, reverse engineers, exploit developers, hardware tinkerers, security engineers and academics who work alongside them.
While the audience spans from sharp newcomers to well-known names in the field, the center of gravity is firmly on rigorous, hands-on technical work and original research. As a regional conference with national outreach, MinuteCon is rooted first in New England, anchored in Boston’s deep hacking roots, research labs, startups, and established security teams while actively drawing hackers, infosec practitioners, and cyber policy professionals from across the country to share their work.
MinuteCon Mission and Core Values

To create a dedicated space for hackers to exchange groundbreaking research, share advanced techniques, and inspire one another. Rooted in New England’s rich Hacker history, we aim to honor the spirit of legendary collectives while building a forward-looking community that advances cybersecurity and technology for years to come.
